Education is a fundamental universal human right and the first building block of sustainable human development upon which everything else - health care, social development, employment rests.

These were the guiding priniciples of the founders of Small Steps Foundation to take a collective action, our first step to make a positive difference in the lives of millions of helpless children who are deprived of their basic universal human right: Right to Education.

Small Steps Foundation (SSF) is a non-profit public benefit volunteer corporation registered with the Secretary of State of California in Nov 2006. Small Steps Foundation is organized to aid in socio-economic development in India by raising funds in US to support developmental initiatives in India that focus on:

1. Education of underprivileged children
2. Education and Development of the girl child
3. Rehabilitation of children in special circumstances

Small Steps Foundation (SSF) partners with non governmental organizations that share the same philosophy as SSF and work tirelessly with children in different aspects of education:
