Instructions For Art Competition

  • Contest ends sharp at 12:30pm
  • Drawing Paper will be provided but please bring your own color.
  • Any Drawing medium accepted
  • Topics will be provided on the spot
  • Prized : Trophies are awarded to winners per category
  • Panel of Four Distinguished Judges
  • Categories are : 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-16 years
  • Special craft activities for younger kids

Instructions For Rangoli Competition

  • Age : No age restriction
  • Material/Colors: Please bring (if you can) whatever you need to really showcase your creativity. SSF will provide 3 small pouches of differant colors. SSF will be putting transparent plastic cling on the floor where Rangoli can be made.
  • You may use your fingers or brush but colors have to be dried/powder only.
  • Prize: Beautiful prize for the winner.
  • Contest ends at 12:30pm

Rekha Kamath - Accomplished Artist and Teacher. She has conducted art exhibitions of her work in India and in the US and conducts classes in Ardenwood, Fremont. All her paintings are a celebration of Life and the spirit in every creature, flower or bird as she has seen it and what they teach us.

Ann-Marie Haley - Arts teacher at Jan's Art Studio in Fremont. She has won four awards from Fremont Art Association culminating in "Artist of the Year in 1998" and she has won two silver awards from Alameda County Fair.

Kotha Arvind - Kotha Arvind is very well known Artist and Graphics Designer at India Community Center ICC, Milpitas. He holds a record in the Guinness Book of World Records for 108 hrs for Non-Stop Sketching as well as in Limca Book of Records. He has received numerous honorable awards and prizes for sketching and painting.

Srisha Raman - One Stroke Instructor in Micheals Fremont store, is interested in arts and talented at drawing, painting and sketching. For the past 5 years she became very fascinated with the wonderful creative One Stroke painting technique by Donna Dewberry. She has won several prizes at the Alameda County Fair Exhibition for her paintings. Her Paintings have been displayed at various events. It gives her so much pleasure and she is happy to teach this wonderful art to as many interested people as possible.
